A Board of Directors of very dedicated members operate and govern the Falconer Foundation. With a broad range of skill sets, each member brings a unique perspective and passion to our organization. Meet the amazing people that help make all the magic happen behind the scenes, and work tirelessly to ensure that the scholarship opportunities continue.
Cortney Frasier is the founder and current Director of Falconer Foundation. A talented visual artist, she serves as the K-12 Fine Arts Coordinator for Iredell-Statesville Public Schools. She has a Master of Fine Arts from Savannah College of Art and Design and a Master of Education from Western Carolina University. Her passionate support of the arts and community service was the driving factor for establishing a foundation supporting young artists in furthering their education. She is also the co-founder of College Street Studios in Downtown Mooresville.

Dennis Cowardin is the co-founder and current Board Chairman of Falconer Foundation. He is a graduate of Davidson College. Dennis is well-known throughout Mooresville for his dedicated commitment to community service, and the foundation was created to honor his long-standing tradition of giving back. He is a gifted artist and photographer (he took these amazing pics!) Vice President and Mortgage Sales Manager at Peoples Bank in Mooresville, and founder of College Street Studios in Downtown Mooresville.

Stephen Alexander is the current Treasurer for the Falconer Foundation. He is a graduate of University of North Carolina at Asheville with a BS in Business Administration and Management. He is currently enjoying early retirement in Hatteras, NC. When not on the sound or by a pool, he can be found winning on a Pickleball court near you!

Shane Perry is our current Master of All Things for the Falconer Foundation. He is a Partner at Williams & Perry Law, PLLC in Mooresville and an advocate for consumer rights. He has a Juris Doctor of Law from Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law. He is the youngest graduate on record for both UNC Charlotte and Central Piedmont Community College. Shane enjoys playing music with his two daughters, writing, and carpentry. He also has a collection of old Fords that he is definitely going to restore someday!
